    Susan & The Surftones do surf rock with the same brutal enthusiasm and energy that made the genre so popular in the '60s. "The Originals" combines rampant guitars, throbbing bass lines, solid drum structures, and breezy organs to help bring this genre to this day and age.

    Susan and the Surftones is an American surf instrumental band. The band is considered part of the “third wave” of surf-revivalist bands that formed in the s. The band was started in in Rochester, NY by lead guitarist Susan L. Yasinski, one of very few female lead guitarists in instrumental surf music.

    Susan Surftone is back better than ever Playing her surf magic guitar to everyone's delight. There are 14 tracks on this fantastic CD. When I started off with Start Again I closed my eyes and really felt like Gidget (Sally Field) did when she first met her Moon Doggie Jeff in Malibu.. Each track rules.

    Susan & The Surf Tones. Susan L. Yasinski gründete die Surf-Tones nach zehn Jahren als Gitarristin in verschiedenen Bands im Raum New York. Ihre frühen Einflüsse waren die Beatles, The Ventures und der junge Elvis Presley.

    Led by Susan Yasinski's guitar, the Surftones take a leisurely stroll through 10 originals and four covers. "Wrap-Around" rewardingly details the quieter, more thoughtful places in surf music. This CD is not without punch though - in addition to the twangy West 30, .

    But that's exactly what SUSAN & THE SURFTONES did with their very first recordings. Originally only intended for sale at their live gigs, those tapes were rapidly snapped up by Gee-Dee Music and became SUSAN & THE SURFTONES' first CD, "Without A Word" (Gee-Dee CD ).

    As Susan SurfTone I have three. Two full-length CDs: "Shore" () and "Too Far" ()and now the new EP "Reckoning". There are many as Susan and The SurfTones.. The two I'll mention are "The Originals" and the live one, "All The Beat".
